The plan aims to strengthen the economy by attracting the skilled workers needed in health care, skilled trades, manufacturing, and technology sectors to address the social and economic challenges Canada will face in the coming decades. It also aims to fulfill Canada’s humanitarian commitments by reuniting families as quickly as possible and helping refugees.
