【Intra-company Transferee Work Permit】What is Re-Captured time?
Shall you not be in Canada at any time during the validity period of your Intra-company Transferee Work Permit, you may still apply for an extention.

Q: My company recently opened a branch in Canada. I was asked to be relocated to Canada. I am the first transferee. In regards to a Work Permit, what should I do?
A: Even if it’s a new business in Canada, you can still obtain a Work Permit. Companies may start a new business in Canada once they have at least 1 transferee.

You’ll need a Work Permit if you’re being transferred to a company have operations in Canada. An authorized Work Permit will grant you the permission to work legally in Canada for a designated period of time. In some provinces, you may receive health insurance as well.
