Applications can be submitted to all provinces except Quebec.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Atlantic Immigration Program<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/atlantic-immigration\/how-to-immigrate\/eligibility.html#work_experience\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Atlantic Immigration Program<\/a> is available in four Atlantic provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador).<\/p>\n<p>To qualify as a truck driver, you must meet the following requirements.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have an offer of employment from one of the Atlantic Provinces employers<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency at CLB level 4 or above<\/li>\n<li>Completion of high school education or higher<\/li>\n<li>At least two years of full-time work experience as a long-haul truck driver within the last five years<\/li>\n<li>Must have enough funds to cover the cost of immigration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Manitoba<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Through the <a href=\"https:\/\/immigratemanitoba.com\/employer-services\/truck-drivers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manitoba PNP Employer Direct Pathway<\/a>, Manitoba trucking companies can recruit a certain number of qualified truck drivers internationally.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The employer must have obtained an LMIA within 12 months<\/li>\n<li>Drivers are between the ages of 21-50<\/li>\n<li>Completed secondary school (Canadian equivalency)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of continuous, and verifiable documented work experience as a long-haul truck driver in the past five years in a jurisdiction where the training, licensing and\/or regulation of truck drivers<\/li>\n<li>Can provide reference letters and other verifiable proof of employment<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency at CLB level 5 or above<\/li>\n<li>Sufficient financial resources to establish in Canada<\/li>\n<li>Have been thoroughly screened by the employer through an in-person or video interview, with previous and current employment references verified by the employer<\/li>\n<li>Have fully disclosed the use of any paid representative involved in the recruitment process including applications for LMIA, temporary work permits, and the MPNP assessment process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Prince Edward Island<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.princeedwardisland.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/publications\/pei_workforce_application_guide.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The PEI PNP Workforce category<\/a> requires truck drivers to meet the following conditions in order to apply for permanent residency<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a full-time, non-seasonal (permanent or minimum of two years) job offer from a PEI employer<\/li>\n<li>Have at least one year of work experience directly related to the job<\/li>\n<li>Be 18 to 59 years old<\/li>\n<li>Have successfully completed (at minimum) a secondary school diploma (high school)<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency at CLB level 4 or above<\/li>\n<li>Must have enough funds to cover the cost of immigration<\/li>\n<li>To be able to establish in PEI<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a genuine intention to settle in PEI<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Nova Scotia<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Through <a href=\"https:\/\/novascotiaimmigration.com\/move-here\/occupations-in-demand\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NS PNP Occupations in Demand Stream<\/a>, you may apply for permanent residence in Nova Scotia as a truck driver. To apply under this category, you must meet the following requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a full-time permanent job offer from a Nova Scotia employer<\/li>\n<li>Be 21 to 55 years old<\/li>\n<li>Have 1 year of work experience related to the job<\/li>\n<li>Have a high school diploma<\/li>\n<li>Have the appropriate training, skills and\/or accreditation for the job<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency at CLB level 4 or above<\/li>\n<li>Show enough financial resources to successfully settle in Nova Scotia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Saskatchewan<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskatchewan.ca\/residents\/moving-to-saskatchewan\/live-in-saskatchewan\/by-immigrating\/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program\/browse-sinp-programs\/applicants-with-saskatchewan-experience\/long-haul-truck-driver-project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The SINP Long-Haul Truck Driver Project<\/a> is a program specifically designed for truck drivers under the Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Long-haul truck drivers are allowed to drive for a maximum of 11 hours, but after driving for 8 hours, they must take a minimum 30-minute break.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have worked for at least six-months (780 hours) of full-time (30+ hours per week) work experience in the job with the employer that has provided you the Job Approval Letter, with a valid work permit.\u00a0 The work experience must be consecutive work experience<\/li>\n<li>Have a current Saskatchewan Class 1A driver&#8217;s licence<\/li>\n<li>Have a full-time, permanent job offer from your employer. Your employer must be an approved trucking firm in Saskatchewan.<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency at CLB level 4 or above<\/li>\n<li>Have a valid\u00a0SINP Job Approval Letter. Employers must register with the SINP and obtain the Job Approval Letter.
