{"id":2948,"date":"2022-07-15T16:58:06","date_gmt":"2022-07-15T16:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yupasscanada.com\/?p=2948"},"modified":"2022-07-19T20:41:10","modified_gmt":"2022-07-19T20:41:10","slug":"pr-eng","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yupasscanada.com\/en\/useful-information-to-obtain-visa-permit\/pr-eng\/","title":{"rendered":"\u3010How to obtain Canadian Permanent Residence in less than a year\u3011(Updated July 15, 2022)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span lang=\"en-001\" style=\"color: #0e101a;\">Is it true that you can obtain Permanent Residence (PR) in Canada in less than one year?\u00a0 If you think that it takes a long time to get PR, here are examples of how you can obtain PR in Canada in less than one year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Express Entry<\/strong><strong>\uff0bPR application\uff08Processing time:\uff16months<\/strong><strong>+<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The most common method is registering with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?annotation_id=annotation_1376927811&amp;feature=iv&amp;src_vid=y5ftuVERusg&amp;v=IzfJ8QidomM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Express Entry<\/a> system, <span lang=\"en-001\" style=\"color: #0e101a;\">where those who score well and meet the requirements will be formally invited to apply for Permanent Residence.\u00a0 Then the applicant submits a set of documents through the online system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>When registering for Express Entry, you need to qualify from the following three programs based on age, language ability, education, skills, and work history.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Federal Skilled Worker Program<\/li>\n<li>Canadian Experience Class<\/li>\n<li>Federal Skilled Trades Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Learn more about Express Entry and the three programs that resumed on July 6.\u00a0 Click <a href=\"https:\/\/yupasscanada.com\/government-updates\/express-entry-en\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You may be able to apply for Permanent Residence from outside Canada even though if you do not have a Canadian employer.\u00a0 However, it is only if you have sufficient points and you are early 30s.<\/p>\n<p>Suppose you do not have enough score to receive ITA (Invitation To Apply) on Express Entry. In that case, you can improve your score by improving your English, advancing your professional history, upgrading your educational background, attending school in Canada, or being hired by a Canadian employer.\u00a0 When this occurs, it will take more than a year to receive Permanent Residence.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a spouse, the applicant may be the one with the higher score. For example, a spouse with an open work permit may have a higher score than a person with an employer-limited work permit. Or the spouse may consider to raise their score by attending school.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s consider and strategize which of the two would be more advantageous for your Permanent Residence application.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP\uff09<\/strong><strong>\uff08<\/strong><strong>Processing time:\uff16months<\/strong><strong>+<\/strong><strong>\uff09<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/services\/immigrate-canada\/atlantic-immigration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atlantic Immigration Piolot<\/a> is a pathway to Permanent Residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from a Canadian institution who want to work and live in 1 of Canada\u2019s 4 Atlantic provinces\u2014New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland and Labrador.\u00a0 A work through a new Job offer does not have to be the same type of job in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign workers who receive a job offer may apply for Permanent Residence using one of the following three programs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Atlantic High-Skilled Program<\/li>\n<li>Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program<\/li>\n<li>Atlantic International Graduate Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Provincial Nominee Program (<\/strong><strong>PNP<\/strong><strong>\uff09\uff08Processing time: within 1 year\uff09<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and who are interested in settling in a particular province.<\/p>\n<p>Many of them can only be applied for once you have a job offer.\u00a0 There are two steps.\u00a0 Step 1. Apply to the province.\u00a0 Step 2. Apply to Canada through Express Entry.
