Economic Class\u3000\u3000\ud83c\udfe2<\/h4>\n<p>Those working in professions deemed as \u201cbeneficial to the Canadian economy\u201d may apply. There\u2019s a program that will assess based on a point system your background not only for your\u00a0 occupation, but for your language skill, educational background, age, as well as whether or not you have relatives residing in Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Usually, individuals applying for a PR status do so through Express Entry, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?annotation_id=annotation_1376927811&amp;feature=iv&amp;src_vid=y5ftuVERusg&amp;v=IzfJ8QidomM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?annotation_id=annotation_1376927811&amp;feature=iv&amp;src_vid=y5ftuVERusg&amp;v=IzfJ8QidomM<\/a>, which then qualifies them to get an invitation to apply upon having a high score and meeting all of the requirements.<\/p>\n<p>There are cases where it\u2019s possible to apply for the PR even if you\u2019re applying from outside of Canada, don\u2019t have an employer, don\u2019t have the required points or don\u2019t have a Work Permit.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>1) Express Entry\uff0bPR (6 months)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have enough points, you can increase it by getting a job offer in Canada and apply either through Labor Market Impact Assessment (\u201cLMIA\u201d) or the Provincial Nominee Program\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 (\u201cPNP\u201d).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2) LMIA \uff0b PR applications (9 months\uff5e)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>While you can get approval for an LMIA and increase your points by getting a job offer, you can also apply without the LMIA depending on your work situation.When applying for PR through Express Entry, you can claim an additional 50 or 200 points when having an LMIA at the time as well, depending on the classification of your job.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3) PNP ( 9 months- 2 years)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Each of Canada\u2019s 11 provinces have their own individual program. The immigration policy is under the jurisdiction of each province or territory when you\u2019re applying for a PNP program.<br \/>\nWhen applying for a PR through Express Entry, you will get an additional 600 points to your Express Entry by applying for PNP as well.<\/p>\n<p>Some provinces have a program that allows you to apply as a semi-skilled worker if your occupation is not considered as skilled worker.<\/p>\n<h4>2. Family Sponsorship\u3000\ud83d\udc6a<\/h4>\n<p>You can apply for your 4) spouse, common-law partner, 5) child, 6) parent or grandparent. Minimum amount of net worth and investment varies depending on the province.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9) Significant Benefit to Canada<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Depending on your occupation, if you own a business that is regarded as \u201cof significant benefit\u201d to Canada you can get a Work Permit by applying under the \u201cSignificant Benefit Canada\u201d category.
