{"id":1023,"date":"2018-05-07T20:18:54","date_gmt":"2018-05-07T20:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yupasscanada.com\/?p=1023"},"modified":"2019-03-09T12:08:09","modified_gmt":"2019-03-09T12:08:09","slug":"without-job-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yupasscanada.com\/en\/useful-information-to-obtain-visa-permit\/without-job-offer\/","title":{"rendered":"Can I immigrate to Canada without a job offer from a Canadian company?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The answer is Yes whether you are living outside Canada or in Canada.&nbsp; There are several ways for you to apply for a Canadian PR without a job offer.&nbsp; I will introduce a federal program, provincial programs and family union program for you to immigrate to Canada possibly without a job offer.<\/p>\n<h3>Express Entry plus Federal Skilled Worker or Federal Skilled Trade program<\/h3>\n<p>Generally, you will need a full-time employment in Canada in order to apply for a PR.&nbsp; In some cases, candidates can apply for PR without a job offer.&nbsp; Those who can obtain PR without a job offer is younger age, has excellent English and\/or French skills and have good qualifications in term of Canadian immigration point of view.<\/p>\n<p>This video explains how the Express Entry work &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?annotation_id=annotation_1376927811&amp;feature=iv&amp;src_vid=y5ftuVERusg&amp;v=IzfJ8QidomM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?annotation_id=annotation_1376927811&amp;feature=iv&amp;src_vid=y5ftuVERusg&amp;v=IzfJ8QidomM<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Federal Skilled Worker<\/strong> -You can apply for permanent residence if you are considered a&nbsp;\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.matthewjeffery.com\/immigration-services\/permanent-residence\/skilled-workers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Skilled Worker<\/a>\u201d. You must pass a point system that shows the government whether you will be successful once you immigrate to Canada. You need minimum 67 points for this program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Federal Skilled Trade program<\/strong> &#8211; The Federal Skilled Trades Program is for people who want to become permanent residents, based on being qualified in a Skilled Trade. Without a job offer, you will need to arrange your certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Some Provincial Nominee Programs offer job offer exempt programs.<\/h3>\n<p>Besides meeting the qualification, you will need to show your intention\/connection to reside the province.<\/p>\n<h5>1) Ontario<\/h5>\n<p>Ontario\u2019s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following&nbsp;provincialcriteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>At least one year<\/strong>work experience&nbsp;<strong>within the past five years<\/strong>&nbsp;according to the criteria under the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cic.gc.ca\/english\/immigrate\/skilled\/apply-who.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Federal Skilled Workers Program<\/strong><\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cic.gc.ca\/english\/immigrate\/cec\/apply-who.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Canadian Experience Class<\/strong><\/a> <u>You will also need to qualify for either the Federal Skilled Worker Program <strong>or<\/strong>&nbsp;the Canadian Experience Class.<\/u><\/li>\n<li>Education:Equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor\u2019s degree or above<\/li>\n<li>Language:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/corporate\/publications-manuals\/operational-bulletins-manuals\/standard-requirements\/language-requirements\/test-equivalency-charts.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7<\/a> in English or in French<\/li>\n<li>Settlement Funds:A minimum level of savings or income to support you and your family members<\/li>\n<li>Intent:An intention to live in Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Legal Status in Canada (if applicable):Must have legal status in Canada (i.e., study permit, work permit, visitor record) if currently residing in Canada.<\/li>\n<li>Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score:A minimum of 400 points in the CRS of IRCC\u2019s Express Entry system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*You must have a valid profile in the Express Entry pool.<\/p>\n<h5>2) Saskatchewan<\/h5>\n<p>Saskatchewan offers a program called International Skilled Worker: Occupation in Demand. Your occupation must be one of the demand occupations in the province. They open the window for candidates a couple of times a year.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Score a minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskatchewan.ca\/residents\/moving-to-saskatchewan\/immigrating-to-saskatchewan\/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program\/applicants-international-skilled-workers\/assess-your-eligibility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SINP point assessment grid<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Have a language score of&nbsp;at least&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cic.gc.ca\/english\/resources\/tools\/language\/charts.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Have completed post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship that\u2019s comparable to the Canadian education system of at least one year in length.<\/li>\n<li>Have at least one-year work experience in the past 10 years:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>In your field of education or training occupation, and<\/li>\n<li>In a high skilled occupation in the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/noc.esdc.gc.ca\/English\/noc\/welcome.aspx?ver=11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Occupational Classification<\/a>&nbsp;(NOC)&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/noc.esdc.gc.ca\/English\/NOC\/Matrix2011.aspx?ver=11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matrix<\/a>&nbsp;level &#8220;A&#8221;, &#8220;B&#8221; or &#8220;0&#8221; that\u2019s included on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskatchewan.ca\/residents\/moving-to-saskatchewan\/immigrating-to-saskatchewan\/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program\/applicants-international-skilled-workers\/sinp-in-demand-occupation-list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SINP In-Demand Occupation List.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Show proof of Professional Status or Licensure if&nbsp;required&nbsp;for your occupation.<\/li>\n<li>Have proof of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saskatchewan.ca\/residents\/moving-to-saskatchewan\/immigrating-to-saskatchewan\/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program\/applicants-international-skilled-workers\/international-skilled-worker-occupations-in-demand\/required-documents-for-isws-in-occupations-in-demand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">settlement funds and a settlement plan<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>3) Nova Scotia<\/h5>\n<p>Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be in <u>one of the target occupations<\/u> as identified in the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry guide.<\/li>\n<li>have a profile registered in Express Entry system.<\/li>\n<li>score 67 points or more on the stream\u2019s six selection factors.<\/li>\n<li>have at least one year of skilled work experience in one of our target occupations.<\/li>\n<li>have a Canadian high school credential <u>or equivalent<\/u>.<\/li>\n<li>prove language ability in English or French at Canadian Language Benchmark 7.<\/li>\n<li>show enough financial resources to successfully settle in Nova Scotia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>4) Manitoba<\/h5>\n<p>The Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas category is for qualified skilled workers who may be outside of Canada but who can demonstrate a strong connection to the province.&nbsp;Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain a minimum score of 60 out of 100 points on the points assessment grid;<\/li>\n<li>A close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience in Manitoba;<\/li>\n<li>Declared a regional destination;<\/li>\n<li>At least six months of recent experience in an occupation on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.immigratemanitoba.com\/immigrate-to-manitoba\/in-demand-occupations\/\">Manitoba\u2019s&nbsp;In-demand Occupations list<\/a>; and<\/li>\n<li>A minimum language proficiency of CLB 5 unless&nbsp;work experience is primarily in a regulated occupation (minimum 7) or a compulsory trade&nbsp;(CLB 6).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>5) Family reunion<\/h5>\n<p>You do not need a job offer for a family union program.
